LIFE IN SEDIMENT no.2

LIFE IN SEDIMENT no. 2: Wall art in acrylic & sand
Edition: 2026

Introduction:

“Life in Sediment” is an edition that shows life in its layers.
Colour, sand and texture come together to form abstract landscapes reminiscent of horizons, layers of earth and natural deposits.

The works appear calm and pared back, yet they unfold great depth.
They invite you to pause and discover the subtle transitions between movement and stillness, nature and time.

Artistic concept:

In “Life in Sediment”, life is not depicted but inscribed.
Layer by layer, acrylic paint with sand worked into it forms an organic surface: raw, earthy, yet finely nuanced.

The horizontal structure of the works recalls landscapes, geological formations or the lines of the sea.
Each layer stands for time, change and what remains.

The upper area, deliberately left open, creates space for calm, light and interpretation.
