GESTUS no.1

GESTUS no.01: Expressive acrylic art between movement and form

Edition: 2026

Introduction:

“GESTUS” is a large-format diptych that makes the immediate force of movement visible. Clear brushstrokes, flowing gradients and spontaneous lines meet in an open composition full of energy and lightness.

The work thrives on its pared-back language of form. Without prescribing a specific subject, it opens up space for your own associations and perceptions. The two canvases engage in a lively dialogue and together create an expressive spatial effect.

“GESTUS” unites dynamism and balance in a modern visual language that feels both powerful and timeless.

Artistic concept:

The GESTUS edition explores the visible trace of the creative moment.

The focus is not on depicting an object but on movement itself. Every brushstroke, every line and every colour gradient records a moment of creation and makes the artistic process immediately tangible.

Generous forms meet spontaneous accents. Controlled areas combine with free gestures and create a tension between order and freedom. The composition draws its effect from the interplay of density and openness, calm and energy.

The two-part format heightens this impression further. The two canvases form a single whole while leaving room for individual interpretation. The result is a work that connects with its surroundings and reveals new impressions depending on your point of view.

GESTUS stands for expression through movement: pared back in form, multi-layered in effect.
